The stairs were awkward and hauling luggage up them was really difficult. Inside, the room was filled with overpowering cigarette smoke. It had sunk into the bed and walls, and leaving the French doors open for hours did nothing to clear it. The smell was making me sick, so I contacted Booking . com and filed a complaint. I ended up with the doors open in winter while the heating was on. The equipment for cooking was there, but there was no hot plate or stovetop, and the place felt too dirty to cook in anyway. The whole setup felt bizarre, almost like a scam.

The roof terrace was a lovely bonus, and the apartment was quiet even though it’s near a lively square with excellent restaurants. It’s about a 15-minute drive from Piraeus port, handy for an overnight stay before or after a trip. The place has been recently refurbished, was very clean and comfortable, and there was plenty of free parking nearby, which is rare in Athens.

We liked K8 enough to come back twice. The apartments are modern, nicely designed, and fairly priced, and everything was extremely clean. The rooftop is amazing, and the staff and owner were lovely and helpful. Thanks!

At 11:30 pm, just two hours before we arrived, I got a message saying they couldn’t host us. They’d known about our late check-in since the booking was made. We were left trying to find somewhere to sleep at midnight. I’ve never experienced such unprofessional behavior.

Super clean and bright, with a great roof garden that’s especially nice in the evening. The staff were polite and ready to help with whatever we needed. The apartments are recently renovated, modern, and fully equipped, in a quiet neighborhood away from traffic noise. Supermarkets, places to eat and drink, and the metro are close by, with the station just five minutes away. Definitely recommend it, great value for money.
