We booked a triple room and a double room with a balcony, but the lockbox details we received covered only one room. We got into the triple, then had to call an out-of-hours number for the second. I could make calls in Greece, but not every tourist would be able to. They gave me details for another room, but it was dirty and had no balcony. I called back and was given a different lockbox. That room was clean, but still had no balcony. The customer service woman kept arguing that it was the right room and offered to send confirmation if I didn't believe her. I know what I booked. Looking at the pictures of both rooms, where is the balcony? By then it was around 11pm, and I was tired of arguing, so we stayed there. It's now been two months since you said you'd reviewed this. What's the outcome? I've heard absolutely nothing from you, which is strange.

The rooms looked just like the photos, with clean sheets and bathrooms, and they were cozy, nicely decorated, and comfortable. It felt like a little apartment, with restaurants and bars just a one- or two-minute walk away. We only spent one night there, but we'd come back to Kriel Suits next time we're in Athens. For the price, getting such a nice place in a good part of Athens during peak summer was more than I expected. A really lovely stay.

The hosts made late check-in easy with clear instructions and help before I arrived. The room was freshly refurbished and clean, and it worked well for a one-night stopover. Three people could fit, though the small bathroom might make a longer stay less comfortable. The shower could have been cleaned better, as there was a bit of mould, and it's so small that a bigger person might struggle to use it. I'd recommend this place for short stays and late arrivals.

The room was tiny, and the online photos were misleading. The floors were dirty, and it was obvious nobody had cleaned. By the end of the first day, the bathroom handle had fallen off. It seemed like it had just been pushed into place. The next day, the shower door came off and pieces were on the floor. There was no hot water, and I had to work out how to use the breaker switches to get it running. I emailed a complaint and never got a reply. There are plenty of places worth staying in, but this isn't one of them.
