The lack of basic comfort made this one of my worst accommodation experiences. The advertised streaming services weren’t available in the bedroom, and there was no proper sitting room or comfortable place to relax. I ended up sleeping on a mattress in a small, dark hallway for the whole stay. Even salt wasn’t provided. A sewer-like smell from the bathroom spread through the apartment, and the thin walls let through everything from neighboring units. I couldn’t sleep for a full week because of other guests’ noise. I reported it several times, but nothing effective was done. The supervisor, Melina, was unprofessional and showed little care. She first agreed to send someone to fix the TV, then refused without explaining why. She was argumentative, dismissive, and uncooperative, even with Booking.com involved. She wouldn’t escalate the issue, let me speak to management, or offer a reasonable solution like moving me to another apartment. During my stay she also sent inappropriate and abusive messages. I paid for a full week and was left dealing with poor conditions, a constant odor, and unresolved problems. It caused needless stress and badly disrupted my trip. The dishonesty, hostility, and lack of accountability are deeply concerning. I’ll be pursuing a full refund and strongly advise booking somewhere else.

The rooms were clean and tidy, and there was a decent amount of wardrobe space, though barely any hangers. The air conditioning was nice, but the apartment had nowhere to relax apart from the bedroom. The kitchen wasn’t well equipped, and the shower was much too small. One apartment had a shocking sewerage smell. It’s too far from Athens center, with no entertainment nearby and no view from the windows beyond other apartments. I wouldn’t stay again.

The only thing I’d ask the company managing the apartments to add is a cleaning visit for guests staying about a week, with fresh towels and sheets. The apartment was spacious and very clean, and the location was great, with lots of restaurants and cafes just a couple of minutes away.

The rooms were clean as could be, roomy, comfortable, and had enough equipment. Getting around was easy, with good transport access and excellent places to eat nearby. If it were 10-5% cheaper, this would be an unbeatable Athens deal!

I had a great week here and would definitely come back next time I visit! The apartment had everything I needed, including a hair dryer and coffee machine, and it looked just like the pictures online. I’m impressed 🩷 The neighborhood was good, with a bus stop two minutes away on foot and a big gym about four minutes away. Monastiraki and Syntagma took less than half an hour to reach by bus. There are also plenty of good restaurants and a few supermarkets nearby, plus cool cafes and patisseries less than five minutes away if you’re driving. I only wish I’d taken some photos.
