We got around Athens easily and quickly for all our work because the metro is right nearby. The room was small, but lovely, warm, and spotless, with every little detail taken care of. It was excellent value for money, and we'd choose it again without hesitation.
The room was clean, though the pillows were wrinkled, almost like they'd just come out of the washing machine. Being in a semi-basement beside a main road meant there was noise even at night. There were no shutters, and the curtain let in so much light from the street lamps that you could get up at night without turning on the light.
Being in a semi-basement wasn't pleasant. The TV remote didn't work, even though there were instructions for turning on the TV, and its buttons wouldn't respond. The place didn't feel nice.
