Don't book apartment 1A, it has black mold and feels completely unsafe to rent. The rest of the place was also somewhat dirty: coffee (?) marks on the blinds, stains on the bedroom wall that I didn't want to identify, someone else's long hair on the bed, rickety dirty chairs, a filthy coffee machine inside, and dirty silverware. The check-in setup was badly planned. There was nobody there to meet us, and they didn't send the building entry code by text or email. We had to call and ask for it ourselves while standing at the door. We also had to request the Wi-Fi details. Checkout was 11am, as usual, but at 10:15 am housekeeping opened my door without knocking. The housekeeper said she'd rung the bell first, but I was awake and nobody had rung it. One of my worst hotel experiences.

We loved the free access to the jacuzzi and sauna on the 5th floor. The apartment itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a great mattress, new appliances, and very good air-conditioning. It's close to the subway and within walking distance of the main tourist sights. We walked to the Acropolis in 25'. We'd definitely come back!

The apartment was large and in a great spot, near the metro, coffee shops, and markets. We hardly interacted with anyone, but everything was easy to sort out by chat. We got codes for both the building and apartment, and they arranged an airport transfer too. It was expensive because the airport is far away, but a real help for a late-night arrival. A few problems brought down the rating. The apartment door code often failed. It worked after five minutes the first time, then stopped working on the following days. I contacted them through booking and got a quick solution, even late at night. There was also a key in a combination lockbox, and its code had already been set. That felt like a major security breach. Someone would still have needed to get into the building and know the key was there, but I felt unsafe, so I changed the code and told the hotel. The bathroom wasn't very clean. We found hairs on the floor and even a contact lens. There was also a stereo that apparently anyone could connect to by Bluetooth. We thought it was off, but at 5am some funny people connected and blasted music, which really scared us. We laugh about it now, but it wasn't funny at the time. Maybe these things were isolated, but there were enough of them to lower the rating. I'd still come back if I returned to Athens, since the stay was good overall.

The staff were kind and helpful, and our room was spotless and comfortable. It was fully equipped and close to the metro and shops. Everything was great, and we'll definitely stay here again on our next Athens trip.

The apartment was much bigger than it looked in the pictures, very clean, and had no issues for us. All the access was by codes we received, which worked well during the pandemic. The staff were extremely nice and helpful, and the jacuzzi, available to all tenants, was great and offered some privacy. One of my best accommodation stays, and a really good experience overall. 💛
