TONI'S 1BD Cradle, 99m Metro, lovely hang out!

We didn’t get back until around midnight, so only then did we realize there was one blanket for two beds. It was too late to call anyone, and there weren’t any spare blankets or sheets anywhere, so I used a towel to cover myself. The room itself was good, and the shower was the biggest we had in Greece. The air conditioner and Nesspresso were great. I’d label the keys, too, since we had to use three different ones to get to our room.

The place was very quiet at night despite being right by the metro line and buses, and the curtains kept the room dark. It was spacious, with working A/C and a nice bathroom. I called late and was told there was one room left, but when I arrived the door was locked. Luckily, some other people had been waiting too, and the owner came by bike just as I showed up. My complaint was the towels: they smelled like a washing machine left closed too long, and after drying off I had that same smell on me for about an hour. The sheets and pillows were fine, so maybe it was a different washing machine. The duvet was thick and nice, and there was a soft pillow and a firm one, plus complimentary food items.

For the price we paid, it was a good place to stay, and it was quiet. Nikos, the owner, was friendly and straightforward.

A lovely place. I’ve stayed in two different rooms and slept comfortably both times. It’s extremely handy for the metro into the city or to the airport. A taxi to the long-distance bus station costs €5-8, and there are some great local restaurants a 5-10 minute walk away.
