Casa dell' Aristea turns a stay into the holiday itself. It's a peaceful, intimate place with a small pool looking out over a wonderful sea view, and it's close to beautiful Rethymno while still being quiet. The building is beautiful and sits in a pastoral setting. Our room was charming and carefully decorated, and breakfast was great. Linda was an extraordinary host and a lovely woman. This was one of the most wonderful places we've stayed. If you're visiting Crete, do yourself a favor and go.

This quiet spot is about a 10-minute drive from Rethymno, so you can stay somewhere much calmer than in town. Linda and her husband turned a 15th-century building into a small family-run hotel, and Linda personally looks after guests. She gave us a warm welcome, was on hand to help, and shared very good advice about Rethymno. The pool is fantastic, the rooms are decorated with antique or ancient works of art, and they were cleaned daily. A cosy little paradise. Congratulations! ❤️ Agnès

I wish we'd planned more time in Rethymno just to enjoy the villa's atmosphere a bit longer, and perhaps the pool if the weather had been better. It's an old Venetian Villa, beautifully renovated and decorated with antiques. Linda showed us around and explained its history. Breakfast was splendid, and I have only good things to say about this small hotel.

The apartments are beautiful, the pool is amazing, and the view feels magical. Linda was such a wonderful host, so eager to make her guests happy. What an experience. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

The Casa dell’ Aristea villa was lovely and clean, and there was nothing Linda wouldn't do for us. We learned how she bought and renovated the villa, and even asked her to join us for coffee on a few mornings. I couldn't fault a thing.
