Anastasia Studios

We booked for a week and somehow stayed three. We’ve already reserved a place for next year. Anastasia was cheerful and so helpful, and she clearly loves keeping things clean. Our studio was spotless and cleaned every day. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you, Anastasia, for such a lovely stay!

We’ve happily come back to the property for a third visit. Avlemonas is a pretty little village, and its position in the middle of Kythira makes it easy to get around the island. Anastasia is always ready with information about local activities and sights, and her husband Yorgos, who’s a fisherman, may be able to get you fresh fish. If you’re lucky, you might even try unusual varieties like Lepura, sfyraína (barracuda), or Loútsos. The studios are spacious, very clean, and well equipped, with a reliable WiFi connection and good air conditioning that gives cool, fresh air, which can be hard to find. The beds are comfortable, with spring mattresses that help in the heat. We couldn’t sleep on synthetic covers, so Anastasia kindly provided pure cotton ones. She’s a wonderful host, and I highly recommend Anastasia Studios to anyone wanting a clean, peaceful place to stay on Kythira.

The landlady was very friendly, quick to reply, and always had tips for the day. The apartment itself is modern, quiet, and well equipped, with free parking. Cafés and bars are just a one-minute walk away.

The studios are beautiful and fitted out with high quality items, from the bedding and mattresses to the sheets and windows. She runs the place with real care and was a gracious host who went out of her way for us. We stayed, left, then came back. Six stars would be more like it!
