Pascal and Anna made us feel like family from the start, and breakfast was freshly cooked to order and amazing. Our room was thoughtfully laid out, even down to where the light switches were placed. The hotel is in a quiet spot at the edge of Avlemonas, but it’s still only a six-minute walk into town. We had an amazing stay and would absolutely come back if we return to Kythira.

Anemes is a lovely holiday base, and Matilda was so welcoming. Breakfast was excellent, with whatever we wanted served. There was a problem with the air conditioning when we arrived, but she quickly found someone to repair it. I’d definitely recommend staying at Anemes.

We spent five wonderful nights at Anemes and would gladly recommend it. Matilda looked after us with a smile and made sure we were comfortable throughout. The hotel even arranged gluten-free products for my breakfast, which I really appreciated. We’ll be back!

Our apartment looked out onto a backyard and the mountains, a lovely place to unwind in the evening. It was spacious, with a big living room and bedroom, stayed cool during the day, and had two air conditioners. Breakfast was carefully prepared, too. Booking by email was easy, with just a small deposit by transfer, based on a recommendation from a Greek friend. When we arrived, Mema, Paschalis, their family, and the support team gave us a warm welcome. The location is great, only a few minutes’ walk from the village. Absolutely recommend it. Efxaristo!
