Akrogiali Apart Hotel

This is our second stay at the apartment hotel as independent travelers, which probably says plenty. The view from the balcony in room 105 is tremendous, and the peaceful location is a climb up from the beach. The rooms are very clean, stylish and comfortable, and the beds are excellent. Breakfast is served at the taverna of the same name, and there's more than you could possibly eat. Everyone is welcoming. George, the owner, is one of the hardest-working people you'll meet, very honest and a key figure in Bali. Highly recommended.

The staff were courteous and very helpful. This family-run hotel has apartment-style rooms, and it's a three-minute walk to either of two beaches or to the little Balí street train stop. The train goes through town and serves all four beaches of Balí.

The family hosts are quick to respond, and Georgos is the best. They can also arrange a car at a very good price. The place looks even better in person than in the photos. It's brand new, spotless and has its own parking, which is vital in Bali. The beach is 100 m away, and another is a 10-minute walk. Beds are great, with different pillows available at a five-star level. Wifi is free and works well. Breakfast is included at their restaurant, and they give a 10% discount on other meals. Highly recommended.

The Akrogiali restaurant serves lovely food, fresh and well cooked. Georgis and his daughter were warm, friendly and welcoming, and ready to help with anything. I just got back from a fantastic week in room 107. The views are stunning, it's clean and comfortable, the WiFi is great, and every room has fab air conditioning, a must in summer. The pictures really don't do it justice. If I had to pick one complaint, the big flat-screen TVs in every room were impossible for us to figure out, so we couldn't find English channels. To be fair, we could have asked and someone would have shown us. We had such a great time and will be back.
