Resol Hotel

The French Karaoke nights were incredibly loud. We stayed elsewhere, on the other side of the beach, and the noise made it hard to sit outside. I can't imagine being at this hotel even closer to people shouting into a microphone all night while they think they can sing.

The pool area was pleasant, but the music blaring all day ruined it. Staff were nice and the hotel itself was nice, but the food was pretty rubbish. Breakfast and lunch were so poor that we didn't stay for dinner. The all-inclusive bar was terrible too: the barman was great, but there wasn't much choice and the beer was awful. Overall, not a good holiday experience.

There was plenty to enjoy, and our week ended up being full of positives. The location is beautiful, within walking distance of 3 beaches, with lots of shops and taverns nearby. We'd especially recommend the south of the island, and liked Marmara and Luthro most. The food was tasty with something for everyone, though it got repetitive. Staff were lovely and helpful. The highlight was the animation team Club Jumbo. They're French, but we Czechs had a great time with them too. We don't usually like animation programs, but Shae's energy and enthusiasm won us over. It's lively and fun from morning to night, so not the place if you want peaceful sleep or a quiet poolside rest. Get involved, it's worth it. The hotel was smaller than it looked in the photos. Our room was in a dark ground-floor corner, had no closet or safe, and the cleaning was very poor. It didn't feel like a superior room. Thank you for a great week!

The hotel has a good location, and the kitchen and restaurant staff are very nice and cheerful. The food isn't varied, especially the desserts, but it is delicious. Nearby restaurants are nice and inexpensive. The team of The Jumbo Club was nice too. Smoking is allowed. We were first given a horrible, damp room, but after we asked, they changed it a few days later. This is a nice 2 stars hotel, but not 3 or 4. The rooms are very old and have poor sound insulation. Our first room was full of moisture and, in my opinion, shouldn't be used for guests. Yet an hour after we were moved, new guests were put in it. The room wasn't cleaned, not even the bathroom. Sheets and bathrobes weren't changed. If you leave a bathrobe on the floor, they just put it on the bed. The blankets are old and ugly, and there were no hotel shoes. The swimming pool was full of insects. The woman at the bar was unpleasant and never smiled at customers, especially if they weren't young men flirting with her. All-inclusive cocktails were awful; other cocktails cost 9€ each, while restaurants charge 7-8€ and present them beautifully. There was no juice, only black tea, and the coffee was mostly water.
