The beach is very close, about 300m away, and some rooms have an amazing sea view. The rooms are clean and cosy, and the prices are very fair. The host is lovely and takes care of whatever you need. One call or message is enough. Thanks so much to Joanna!!!

A pleasant surprise was the rooftop at the top of the building. The apartment itself was clean and spacious, with a lovely sea view and a good spot in the little town of Bali. Joanna was kind and easy to reach.

The room was super clean, and Joanna was always there to help. She’s friendly and quick to sort out any issue. I’ve stayed at a lot of different hotels on the island, and I definitely recommend Studio Joanna as a place to stay and enjoy the island.

We stayed in the second-floor studio with a sea view and plan to return next year. It’s excellent value, and Joanna was a faultless hostess. The room was clean and freshly painted, with comfortable beds and a functional en suite bathroom. There’s a big outdoor area with a table and chairs, and the bay views are lovely. The roof terrace was amazing, maybe the best views in Bali. We watched the sunset from there every evening.

We had to cancel our reservation and leave the next day after my family couldn’t sleep all night. One of the double beds was infested with ants. The ground-floor apartment was a catastrophe: it had two bedrooms with no windows, and the only window was in the living room. The bedrooms were almost impossible to ventilate, leaving us to sleep in a stifling atmosphere. The owner seemed indifferent and concerned only about her compensation.
