Nikos was a very kind host, and the price was really good. We had our own parking spot and a peaceful, quiet place to get away from noise. The accommodation was clean and bright, with a sea view. There’s a lovely little beach right below, and a short walk along the promenade takes you to the bigger Barbati beach. You can also set off from here to hike up Corfu’s highest peak.
The view from the property is incredible, and our host was such a lovely person. We really appreciated his warmth and hospitality, and would gladly come back again.

We’d gladly stay with Nikos and Eleni again if we return to Corfu. The owner was so friendly and always ready with useful advice about the island. The apartment was excellent, with no street noise and a beautiful terrace looking out over the sea, Corfu town, and Vido. Barbati has one of the best beaches on Corfu, in my view, and there are smaller beaches too. It’s also a great spot for anyone who enjoys hiking. There’s a lovely route up to Pantokrator with beautiful views. Best wishes to our namesake!
