There’s a small beach across the road, reached by a hidden path, and Nisaki with its beach, mini markets, and boat and bike rentals is a few hundred metres away. The bus stop and a very nice restaurant are just metres from the house. The garden is huge and full of flowers and olive trees, so the place feels private, with the island’s tallest mountain right beside it. I loved looking at it from the pool. The space was cleaned often. Such a beautiful spot, and wonderfully quiet. I’ll come back.

The pool was a plus, but the location felt isolated and not suitable for young people. Apart from the small beach across the street, other beaches are far away and hard to reach on foot or by public transport. We never met the owner at any point during our stay. Our apartment also had several plumbing problems with the shower and sinks, and it flooded on the last day.

The only downside was the very dangerous entrance and exit onto the main road, where a collision could easily happen. Otherwise, we had a very enjoyable stay in a super quiet neighborhood with large, spacious cottages and a clean, well-maintained pool.
