Vladimiros Apartments

We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment with a full sea view, and it was stunning. It had the essentials covered: a well-equipped kitchen, air conditioning, comfortable beds, roomy wardrobes, and a bathroom with a shower. The pool was a nice extra. George, the owner, was hospitable and helpful throughout. Barbati is a small village, around a 30-minute drive from Corfu airport. I’d recommend having a car from the start: the closest shop is about a kilometre away, and the apartment makes a handy base for exploring other parts of Corfu. There’s also a Green Line bus stop about 100 metres away. It doesn’t show up on Google Maps, though, so try another app. I used Moovit.

The owner was kind and ready to help, and the apartments were kept clean. They took the rubbish out every day. The provided utensils were enough if, like me, you’re not planning to do much cooking. It’s close to the sea, though the walk into the town center takes 10-15 minutes. At night, that felt a bit far because the road isn’t lit well. Apart from that, everything was good.

The owner was just perfect, and the pool was great. I spent two days here with friends and liked the place. The apartment had everything we needed, and the sea view was amazing.

The balcony has a great view across the whole bay, and Barbati beach is lovely, about a five-minute walk away. Our room was simple, but it was clean and comfortable and had what we needed. I really enjoyed staying here, especially for the price, and would gladly come back.
