We had a great stay at a budget price, just a few steps from the beach!

The hosts were welcoming and kind, and we had a really pleasant week here. The villa and its furniture are older, but everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had what we needed. We were greeted with cold water and fresh fruit in the fridge, plus coffee, tea, salt, oil, and cleaning supplies. The air conditioning worked very well, with no extra charge. There's no reception open all the time, which makes sense for such a small villa. I called the number listed on Google Maps, and the host arrived within minutes. For shopping, the hosts also run Alexandros store on the main street. They have good prices and quality, so I recommend shopping there. We really liked the pastries from the shop next door too, especially the spanakopita, my favorite. Varvara was our favorite nearby restaurant, with freshly cooked food, authentic flavors, and reasonable prices. I highly recommend the location. You can have a very pleasant holiday on a low budget. We had a fantastic week in one of Alexandros's rentals, despite expecting the worst after reading the reviews. The room was tidy and clean, the view was magnificent, and the host was consistently kind and helpful. We arrived around midnight for check-in, but he was still courteous. When we left, we were even given homemade soaps as gifts. It's also handy that you can find the owners at their minimarket just before reaching the apartment, where they can welcome you. Definitely worth considering for a stay in Corfu, highly recommended.
