The quiet at night was a real plus. Benitses center, with its bars and restaurants, is 1.2 km away, and the beach is only 300 meters away. Breakfast is prepared for each guest, and the coffee is great. You can buy water and other drinks at the pool bar. The host was friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and repairs were handled quickly when needed. There’s a lovely view and a peaceful pool area, too. It may not suit you if you expect everything to be brand new and flawless, but for us it was a very nice place to stay. I’d happily return to Andromaches.

The location was a highlight, and the parking was excellent. We also really liked breakfast, and the Wi-Fi was the best we had in Greece. We even managed to work remotely for two days. Still, cleanliness was a serious letdown. There was dust in the closets, the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly, especially the toilet, and everything in the room felt dirty. We did grow to like the place by the end, but that lack of cleanliness left us with mixed feelings.

We were happy to focus on the good parts, but I’m listing the issues so others can make an informed choice. The view from the restaurant and bar is beautiful, and the pancakes were lovely, freshly cooked each day. Breakfast also included an egg, meat and cheese option, though the preparation varied from day to day. We chose pancakes most mornings because there were quite a lot of wasps during our September visit, and we’d read they’re more attracted to meat. That wasn’t the owners’ fault. We stayed seven nights with breakfast included. The room seemed clean enough, though we found a few hairs and some beard trimmings on the bathroom shelf. The room information said towels and linens would be changed every 2-3 days, but ours weren’t changed at all. It wasn’t a huge issue for a week, but they shouldn’t promise it if it won’t happen. There were mosquitoes in the room when we arrived, and we had a big problem with them. The room was also extremely humid. There were extraction fans in both the room and bathroom, but even running them all day didn’t clear the humidity. We didn’t mind too much since we didn’t spend much time inside. My boyfriend and I also weren’t bothered by the sea view being partly blocked by trees. We didn’t come to Corfu to look at the sea through our window.

We had a very bad experience. We booked one night, but our flight was delayed until the next day because of bad weather and other issues. It landed in Thessalonika instead of Corfou, so we had to find somewhere to stay there. As soon as we knew, we tried to contact the property, but had to call three different phone numbers before reaching anyone. We gave them updates when we heard from the airline, but he either didn’t respond or replied as though we were still coming, even after we explained we were stuck in Thessalonika. It felt like he was pretending not to understand, and we had no way to cancel the booking. The next day he told us it was a “no show full charge.” I strongly advise against staying there.
