Corfu Maris Hotel

The bus stop is within 100yds, with buses into Corfu town taking about half an hour and costing 2€, roughly every half hour. There's a supermarket about 100yds away too. The hotel is just outside town, right on the water, with a quiet beach, plenty of sunbeds and parasols, and gently shelving shingle leading into clear, calm water. The main road is busy and you can hear some noise, but it wasn't disturbing. We could spot planes as well. It's a great little hotel. Rooms were cleaned daily, staff were lovely and friendly, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of the usual fresh options. The indoor and outdoor dining areas were nice and clean.

Really nice room, tasty food with something new each day, and the hotel sits right on the beach. The water was clean and warm, and every room has a sea view. Lovely staff too.

We had a tranquil, restorative stay at a quiet hotel with great prices. From the restaurant veranda, we couldn't hear any noise in our rooms, and the families staying there were very quiet too. The building doesn't look fancy or have modern frills, but it has what you need. Jenny at reception was fantastic and managed to fit us in during high season even though we had no reservation. We tried three rooms, all with great sea views. Each was very clean, and the bathrooms were roomy. The rooms with two extra beds would've been perfect when we still had kids with us. Breakfast was sumptuous, and you could have all your meals there. The breakfast staff were so nice they made your day. Reception were helpful with everything, quickly finding taxis and car rentals. When our boat anchored nearby drifted away, they were very effective in helping us contact the coast guard. They also have contacts for day trips if you're interested. It was a warm, welcoming stay, and I hope to return when we visit Corfu again.

The meals were a highlight, with a good range of fish, meat, mussels, traditional Greek dishes like moussaka and pastitsio, and fresh fruit to finish. We also liked how the nearby area had charming restaurants for lunch, since we had breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The beach was a real gem, with warm, calm water and plenty of free sunbeds and umbrellas available at any time. There was no need to rush out early to claim a spot. The panoramic sea views from our balcony were magical each morning, and the soundproofing was so good we never heard our neighbors on either side. Daily housekeeping kept the room immaculate, with fresh towels and linen. We had a wonderful stay at Corfu Maris 4*. Its location was excellent and the private beach was arguably the best on the island's eastern side. It exceeded my expectations, and I'd gladly recommend it and return.
