We had a quiet stay in a well-equipped two-bedroom apartment beside the main block. It had a patio, grill oven, kettle, iron and air conditioning. We could also use the shared area and BBQ, though we didn’t. WiFi was free and great; the TV only had local channels. There were no extra charges or deposits. Toilet paper goes in the bin and is collected daily, which is normal there. Watch out for insect bites and feral cats trying to come inside. The family who own the apartments were helpful with directions and tour suggestions, and Elena couldn’t do enough for us. The property is close to the centre of Benitses, though up a steep lane, and there’s no parking. Bus 6 drops you in the centre.

The price was very reasonable, and the location is great, just a little way up from town. Eleni at reception was sweet and helpful. The room and bathroom were large, though a bit dated.

A great budget option right in the heart of Benitses. The terrace has an amazing view, and the rooms are spacious and clean.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, and a handy spot near the beach, shops and bus stop.

The sea-facing balcony looked out toward the sea and continental Greece, and the rooftop terrace and yard with a grill were nice extras. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the private bathroom had a shower. There was also a small kitchenette with a little oven and grill. The nearest beach is a five-minute walk, and shops, restaurants and even a pharmacy are nearby. We stayed for a week at the end of May and beginning of June this year, and loved it. The host was friendly and helpful throughout, offered to pick us up from the bus station when we arrived at night, and shared personal tips on things to do and see in Corfu. She speaks very good English and responded quickly on Booking, where we booked. The place exceeded our expectations, and we’d recommend it again and again.
