The Summit Escape

The location was perfect, with a great outdoor area and a much appreciated pool. The staff were very attentive, especially Sofia, who went out of her way to take care of everything we needed. We stayed in the three-bedroom house, and its solid wood floors, furniture, and finishes made it clear this was an old mansion. There were a few small things to improve, which we shared directly with management after they asked for honest feedback. I'm sure they'll address them. Highly recommend the Summit Escape.

The rooms were spacious and very clean, with a coffee maker and fridge. The bathroom amenities were great and the shower worked really well. It's a lovely little hotel with a shared pool, panoramic views, and lovely owners. The beach is a minute away by car, and Benitses village is about three minutes by car. A highly recommended place for privacy and relaxation.

The sea view is amazing, and breakfast was great, with bread, eggs, butter, meat, marmalade, honey, tea, coffee, and whatever else you might want. The cleaning service was great too. Nikki is a kind, approachable housekeeper who was happy to answer questions or chat, and Sofia, who owns the apartments, was also very kind and reachable by WhatsApp or phone. There's a lovely pool and plenty of parking. I'd recommend renting a car in Corfu for getting around. You can also take the bus from the airport to the apartments, though it takes a while. As of May 2026, a one-way ticket cost 2,50 € when bought from the bus driver. Achilleio is about a 20-minute walk up the road, and Benitses is about 20-25 minutes away on foot. There are minimarkets and supermarkets there, but I'd say they're quite expensive. Benitses has a beach too, though Corfu has better ones. Visit Corfu town, and Sofia can suggest what else to explore.
