Alexis Hotel

We had a very relaxing six-night stay. The hotel has a family feel, and everyone was friendly, from reception to the wonderful lady who welcomed us at breakfast each morning. The location was easy for getting to the beach, where there are some great places to eat. There’s also a very nice restaurant at the hotel with great staff. Nico was amazing, and the restaurant view is stunning. I’d happily recommend the hotel and its location.

We arrived around 12 o’clock at night and the reception was great. The rooms were very clean, and the service impeccable. We had a great time here. The restaurant food was fantastic, with a huge variety and an excellent breakfast too. The pool area was nice and clean. We’d definitely come back.

For our honeymoon, we chose Alexis hotel and had an amazing stay. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were very friendly and always available to answer questions or help. The hotel is a little outside Chania center, but there’s a free bus transfer every 20 minutes during the week. We enjoyed the landscape and beaches around Chania and the hotel. The restaurant attached to the hotel, Theodosi, was incredible. We gladly ate there every night, and breakfast is worth it too. If we return to Crete, we’ll definitely stay at Alexis hotel again.

The restaurant below the hotel is a must for an evening meal. The food was outstanding, and breakfast had a huge selection, with something for everyone. Sitting outside, you can watch the world go by and see the sea crashing in. The pool and surrounding area were spotless. Our modern room had a great-sized, very comfortable bed, and was cleaned daily with fresh towels. It always smelled lovely when we came back. The whole family made us feel welcome. Maria greeted us at the restaurant each morning with a smile and a happy attitude, and everyone at reception and around the hotel was amazing. Great price, rooms, food and staff, we had an amazing stay. It’s a good location, away from the center but not too far to walk. You need good mobility if you don’t have transport because it’s up a hill, though not a bad one. The Venetian harbour is about a 20-minute walk. There’s plenty of parking at the hotel.
