The apartment is right in the middle of Chania, so everything is close by, and the price seemed fair for that location. The trade-off is some noise, though shutting the windows makes it fairly manageable. Parking is fine if you arrive before 4-5 PM. Later on, you may need to look around or wait until 11-12 PM, when a space should turn up. Inside, there are two bathrooms, a small upstairs terrace and plenty of equipment. A few drawbacks: there's no umbrella or shade, and the water pressure won't support showers upstairs and downstairs at the same time. The finishing work is a bit mediocre, but you're on holiday, so who wants to think about renovations? Communication with the property manager was good. I recommend it.

Kelly was a great host, and the place was a wonderful base in Chania, close to the port and equipped with everything we needed for a good stay. The one drawback was low water pressure in the pipes. That's common in Chania during summer, when water use goes up.

Be careful with this provider if you want your trip plans to be reliable. I booked what seemed like a great deal through Booking.com a year ahead, but shortly before arrival they cancelled it. I suspect they could then offer the accommodation at a much higher price on short notice. I'd steer clear if you want peace of mind while planning.
