Captain Michalis Apartments

The studios and rooms were bright, clean, and comfortable, and the room service was excellent. Olina, the owner, was kind and helpful, and the whole staff was great. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chania, and would send friends, relatives, and colleagues here.

We spent two months here in the summer of 2023, and left with wonderful impressions. The room was comfortable, with everything thought through, and the cleaning, linen changes, and fresh towels were all done on time and to a high standard. Jan's balcony was a lovely place for breakfast or dinner while watching sunrise and sunset. The owner is an amazing, hospitable, caring woman who made us feel looked after. Aparthotel Captain Michalis is a real Chania gem, with a convenient location for all kinds of travelers: several beautiful beaches are within walking distance, large supermarkets are nearby, and there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel. We’re already planning to spend next summer in Crete, in Khanta, at apart hotel Kapitan Michailis. Elena and my daughter Anastasia, Moscow, Russia (summer 2023).

The apartment was a pleasure to stay in, with spacious rooms and two balconies in each room. It’s in a quiet village on high ground above the sea, and the hostess was helpful. I’d love to return sometime.

The apartment was spacious, clean, and well equipped, and the kids loved it. We enjoyed walking to the beach, and there was a large balcony and a nice neighborhood. A lovely little tavern is in the nearby village, and it was great value for money. We’ll definitely be back!
