We spent a little over a week here and had a great stay. The hotel sits on a charming old-town street among historic buildings and interesting architecture. Our room was clean, with a high ceiling, good air conditioning and Wi-Fi, a modern bathroom, and a balcony with a lovely view. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the mini market downstairs came in handy. If I understood right, it's a family business, which adds to the charm. Casa Latina may not suit someone after a high-tech modern hotel or a luxury all-inclusive, but if you'd rather dive straight into an adventure, it's a great choice for a Chania trip.

We had a really nice five days at Casa Latina. The room had a lovely feel, and it was quiet. The owners were warm and helpful, always smiling. I only wish the mattress had been more comfortable.

The room was tiny and didn't feel very fresh. The sheet on the double bed was too small, so I didn't get much sleep. We mentioned it to the owner the next day, and she said it would cost extra euros. That's the worst response I've had, especially when we'd paid for a double room.

We spent five nights in a stunning, restful room with a balcony looking across the old town toward the sea. It felt like a room fit for Zeus, and the value was amazing.
