Fagotto Art Residences

The friendly, lovely staff and the location made this cozy place well worth the price. It's right in the heart of Chania Old Town, with a Jazz bar downstairs. We didn't mind the noise. The rooms are a little tight, but understandable. Highly recommend ❤️

We felt welcome right away when we arrived late and found a sweet note with our name and instructions on the door. Getting in was easy, and our keys were waiting inside by the door. The location is ideal, just a few meters from all the great restaurants. Our room's shower was a favorite: very clean and modern, while still keeping a traditional style ☺️

We showed up with our bags after an online booking fell through, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful getting things sorted. They made us feel welcome, helped us get our bearings, and gave us suggestions for activities and local restaurants. We tried them all, and every one was fantastic 🙏🏼. Our ground-floor suite was lovely, with a hot shower and tea and coffee facilities. The place is above a brilliant bar called Fagotto, so evenings can be a little loud. If you're at the bar, that doesn't matter, and I'd recommend a visit 🍻🍷. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay ☺️

We got an upgrade to a larger, spacious room with a rooftop terrace, which I really appreciated, even if an upgrade probably wouldn't be needed in normal, non-COVID times. The room was nicely equipped and well maintained, and the front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This boutique hotel is right in the middle of the Old Town, and I'd absolutely recommend it while visiting Chania. The one real drawback was the solar water heater, the only source of hot water. It wasn't warm enough for a morning shower, which was a huge pain.
