We'd come back straight away. The landlord was very nice, and the apartment was spacious and modern, with a well-equipped kitchen, air conditioning, and a really large balcony. It's in a strategic spot, about 10 minutes from the historic center and all the services, with a mini market down the road.

The host was super friendly and helpful, and the apartments were great. The walk to the old town is only 15 minutes. Especially convenient if you've rented a car, since there are lots of free parking spaces 🤩

The owner was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome, but the hygiene needed to be better. Our apartment hadn't been cleaned properly. What upset us most was the German Shepherd chained beneath the balcony of our basement apartment, in an enclosed area with a wall so he couldn't see outside. He was never taken for walks, and the walking chain let him move only 5 meters back and forth. He also relieved himself there. It was awful to witness, and we filed a police report. To us, this is animal abuse. We read the reviews at home and found one from 2023 about the same thing, so the dog has apparently been there for 2 years. The dog doesn't belong to the owner, but we don't understand why he hasn't done anything, since he knows about it too. Sadly, this ruined our holiday. I couldn't stop thinking about someone treating their dog like that. If you go there, I hope you'll also look in on the German Shepherd. He deserves a good life too!!!! This should absolutely not be allowed, and being chained up all day is prohibited in Greece.
