The location is very hilly, with no shops or tavernas close enough to reach on foot, so having a car helps. The Katakis family were wonderful with me and my family, even helping us get from the airport and arrange a rental car. The villa is stunning, and the family running it were fantastic and attentive. I hope we can come back in 2023 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A rental car is a must here. We had occasional trouble with the internet and warm water during winter, but otherwise everything was great. The villa and the family who own it were lovely.

We had a really comfortable stay as a family, and the villa had all the furnishings and equipment we needed. The welcome was lovely too. It’s in one of the best areas for exploring Crete, and definitely one of the city’s best places.

The pool looks beautiful with its night lighting, and the villa itself is thoughtfully set up for pretty much anything you might need. The hosts were lovely, and everything was impressively well organised.

The owners clearly want you to feel comfortable. Whenever the house was cleaned, they brought fresh fruit and homemade treats, and the service was excellent.
