La Vista De Pablo

We loved sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine and local cheese, looking out over the Venetian Harbor. Vista de Pablo is only a few steps from the waterfront, shops, and restaurants, and my wife enjoyed a spa visit at Al Hammam, just a short walk away. We spent two weeks in Chania and couldn't have been happier. Pavros was welcoming and attentive, and the accommodation was spotless, comfortable, well equipped, and maintained to a high standard. This was probably our best vacation yet, and my wife is already planning a return.

The room was comfortable and looked out over the Venetian Harbour. It’s close to the main sights as well as the shops and restaurants. A great spot if you want to stay right in the lively heart of Old Town Chania.

The balcony was our favourite spot. We stayed out there into the evening, watching people go by as the sun fell across it. With the Christmas market right below, it felt like the festive season had come to us. At night, though, the room stayed very quiet, even in one of the harbour's busiest areas. We spent three nights and four days at La Vista de Pablo in late December. The room was spotless and just right for two or three people, with a large, practical bathroom and all the amenities we needed. Pavlo and the team left fruit and wine, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. They were excellent about helping us and had great suggestions for restaurants and sights. We come to Chania every year, and La Vista de Pablo will be our first choice from now on. Thanks to Pavlo and the team for making the festive season such a lovely one.

I love this place. Cafes are only a two minute walk away, but nights are quiet. The bathroom is immaculate and feels new, with a roomy rain shower and good water pressure. I've stayed in Chania before and found other good places, but this one is great. The sunsets are phenomenal, and when you're lucky, the rising sun lights up the far side of the harbor in almost incandescent colors.
