We had a really nice stay with two families and kids in the three-room villa. The site has three villas, each with its own pool and private area, and they share only the entrance road. We especially enjoyed the lovely view. The owner is a very nice man and did all he could to make our stay enjoyable. The main bedrooms are large, each with a double bed and an extendable couch, enough for two adults and one child. There's another bedroom with two single beds, plus two bathrooms, one on each floor. Downstairs, the living room has a fully equipped kitchen for making any meal. Outside, we ate and relaxed by the pool at a large shaded table on the terrace. The pool is a good size, with a 1.50 m deep section for adults and a 0.60 m section for kids. Agia Marina's main street is five minutes away by car, and Chania is 25 minutes away. I really enjoyed the place and hope to return one day.

The real highlight of the holiday was Harris. We sat together drinking Raki and eating pears from the garden trees. He left fresh bread each morning, was a joy to talk with, and helped us plan trips and choose places to see around Crete. His wife was just as charming and made us feel like family. I wish we'd met people like them many times before. The villa is gorgeous, with everything you'd expect from a high-end place: air conditioning in each room, a pool, laundry facilities, and several bathrooms and showers. Hot water never seemed to run out; there were five of us and we had plenty, along with lots of towels. The large bedrooms have lots of storage, and there are three safety deposit boxes. The individual air conditioning was a lifesaver during the high temperatures in September. We highly recommend Meliades villas in Crete. You'll need a car to get around. We knew that when we booked and rented one at Chania airport for our whole visit. It gave us freedom to explore while still letting us enjoy the privacy of the accommodation. I had the holiday of my lifetime here, and hope you get to experience it too.

We had a great holiday and I'll miss this villa. It's quiet and secluded, with fantastic views, a brilliant pool and a big BBQ. There are three villas of a similar standard on the site, each fully separate.
