The balcony felt dangerous: its railing shook badly and parts were already coming apart, so someone could have fallen from the first floor without being careful. Inside, the converted-cupboard bathroom was covered in mold, the walls were dirty, and the kitchenware was unhygienic. The second bed still had dirt and hair from the previous guests and hadn't been freshly made. The kettle was completely rusty, and the glasses were filthy. The blinds wouldn't stay in place and sprang back halfway up, so we had to roll the rest by hand; the lampshades were lying on the floor instead of being attached. The air conditioning barely worked, and there was no hot running water unless we switched on the boiler before showering. The door lock looked as if it had been broken before. The owner admitted there were problems but seemed uninterested and offered no real fix. We were shocked and left to find somewhere else without spending a night there. The owner kept the 460 euros we'd already paid and didn't refund us. This place was in a catastrophic state, with serious hygiene and safety problems, and should be closed. It was a sad example of poor Greek hospitality.

The place was spotless and had a really pleasant atmosphere, with the center close by. Thanks for such a lovely stay, we enjoyed it all.

The owners were straightforward and helpful, and parking was easy. It was clean and close to the city, with great value for money, a 10 out of 10.

The room had a stylish look and the hosts were kind. There was a kitchen with the equipment we needed. Just note it's a basement room at the back, and the street is noisy.
