Morfeas Hotel

What a bargain for the price we paid. The room and view were amazing, just like the pictures, and it came with an espresso machine, hair dryer, iron, nice TV, and WiFi. The small family team took great care of us, cleaned our room every day, and pointed us toward good restaurants and attractions. Beautiful hotel in Chania’s old harbour. We’ll be back, thanks, everyone.

Amalia and her father are such lovely people, and the hotel felt more like a family home than a place to stay. When Amalia found out I was visiting Crete for the first time, she got out a map and marked beaches, breakfast and dinner spots, and cocktail bars for the evening. Her father Odysseus greeted me with a smile and a wave at reception each morning, which was a lovely way to start the day. The location puts you right in the heart of Chania, and the bus station is only a five-minute walk if you’d rather take buses than rent a car. The WiFi was strong, too. Thank you, Amalia, for being such a great host. My stay at the Morfeas hotel was amazing.

The owners were what made my stay at Hotel Morpheas feel so special. Their experience and professionalism came with real warmth, and I felt at home throughout my holiday in Chania. The room was clean and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable mattresses that made for peaceful nights. I was also delighted to find a Nespresso coffee machine in the room. Right in the historic centre, it exceeded my expectations. I had a fabulous holiday here and would happily recommend Hotel Morpheas to anyone coming to this lovely city. Book here, you won’t regret it.

We got upgraded to a room with a balcony, which was lovely, and the owner was really nice. The hotel is well placed in the old town. The alley can get a little loud at night, but earplugs took care of it.
