Morum City Hotel Chania

Parking was the one real hassle. There are only up to three parking spots, so I had to find a space on my own. The car park is about a 3-5 minute drive away, and its hours, including on holidays, are tricky. The room wasn’t very spacious, but it was very clean and the amenities were decent. It’s a small to medium sized place with a relaxed, family-run feel. Very convenient too, with the main street, city, and heritage sites all within walking distance.

Breakfast was a highlight of our three days at Morum Hotel. There was a great range of fresh, carefully chosen, high-quality options, so every morning got off to a lovely start. The rooms were modern, beautifully designed, immaculate, and very comfortable, with every detail considered. We slept exceptionally well. The staff were kind, welcoming, and always willing to help with a genuine smile, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Our stay in Chania exceeded expectations, and we’d definitely return. A great choice for comfort, quality, and warm hospitality.

We got a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful Superior Suite at check-in, which made our one-night stay at Morum City Hotel at the end of August 2025 more than perfect. The hotel was quiet and clean, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was very good. It’s a five-minute walk to the Center, including the Venetian Harbor and shops. Parking nearby can be a challenge. We found a spot on a parallel street three minutes away, but felt pretty lucky to get it.

Parking can be difficult, which is the one thing I’d gripe about. Still, it’s absolutely worth it to stay right in the action near old town. The location is undeniably great, and the breakfast is top notch.
