The room was so comfortable, and the hospitality was wonderful. Every little detail seemed carefully considered, and breakfast was delicious. Those thoughtful touches made the visit even more memorable. It felt like staying with family in Chania, with the service and quality of a 5-star hotel. We loved this place and can't wait to return. The staff were the standout for me. They went above and beyond to make guests feel like VIPs, and I’d give them 7 stars if I could. The room was spotless and well maintained, with everything we might need and every detail covered. It’s a small, quiet, intimate hotel and a peaceful place to come back to in the city. The location is excellent too. You can get around the whole city on foot in 10 to 15 minutes, so it’s a great base for exploring without constantly needing transport. From beginning to end, this was a fantastic stay. It’s officially a 5-star hotel, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. A real gem for anyone looking for great service and a quiet, first-class location.

George runs the hotel with real courtesy and is always ready to help make a stay in Chania pleasant. He’s available with suggestions for hikes, visits, and restaurants. The old port, with its nightlife, shops, and restaurants, is a quick ten-minute walk away. If the dedicated spaces are full, there’s free parking on nearby streets. It’s a lovely grand house turned into a newly renovated designer hotel. Everything is new and works very well, and it’s perfect for couples. We’d definitely come back.

The generous breakfast came with excellent coffee. We found the portions quite large on day one, so we ordered a little less on the following mornings. The owners were welcoming and genuinely kind, which added a personal touch. For me, the things that matter most are the design, personal service, bathroom and shower standard, soundproofing, colors, and breakfast. Nearchou Boutique Hotel delivered on almost all of them. It’s around a ten-minute walk from the city center, which suited us well, especially after nights out, including at Lime Sips & Bites, one of the city’s best cocktail spots, which we recommend. I loved staying here and give it top marks, based on what I personally look for.
