We stayed in the studio apartment around the end of July. The balcony had a breathtaking view, which made up for the disappointment of finding no cooking facilities despite the listing saying “kitchenette.” There was only a kettle, and the cutlery was nowhere near enough for two of us: one fork, three knives, and a few teaspoons. The room did have a fridge with a small integrated freezer and a sink. It’s on the fourth floor of a newly built apartment block with a lift, in a flat divided into four apartments. The flat’s owner lives there, and you share the bathroom with him. The room and bathroom were clean when we arrived. There’s no cleaning service or linen change, but the owner replaced our towels after a few days, and cleaning products, a mop, and a broom were provided. Nikos was really friendly and helpful. It’s about an eight-minute walk to the old town and a ten-minute drive to several supermarkets.

There’s a huge balcony with a single bed where you can choose to sleep outside. I didn’t try it because it was very windy during my stay. The host was friendly and helpful, and this is the perfect place to stay in Chania. I’d definitely come back if I visit again.

The harbor view with all the boats was amazing. There weren’t many kitchen utensils, but I didn’t mind because that view more than made up for it.

The host was kind and helpful, and we had a lovely stay. Our room was really spacious, with a huge balcony looking out over the beach, and the location was perfect, close to lots of nice restaurants.

The portions were so generous we couldn’t finish everything we ordered. The food was excellent and the prices reasonable. Try the seafood menu, you won’t regret it. Many thanks for the Cretan hospitality.
