We’re hoping to return in summer or fall, and we’d stay at SanSal Boutique Hotel again. The sea view from our clean, comfortable room was gorgeous, and the sleek finishes made it feel inviting. Staff were kind and helpful from the moment we arrived, and the lobby smelled lovely. Alexa at reception gave us great restaurant ideas and suggestions for things to see. Breakfast had a generous spread of local delicacies, plus eggs made to order. The hotel is about a ten minute walk from the heart of Old Town. Try the maze of streets and homes at least once instead of walking along the sea, you won’t regret it. We had a wonderful trip, and our stay here made it even better ♥️

Our room and the hotel were excellent, and we had a lovely view over the water and old town. The staff and service were top notch. Breakfast was great too, and we had a really good stay.

Our trip was cut short by a day because all ferries were canceled on the day we were meant to travel from Naxos, so we stayed three nights instead of four. SanSal made the shortened visit a relaxing one. They welcomed us with a drink and upgraded us to the Executive Suite, which was a lovely surprise after a long travel day. Our original booking had us changing rooms after two nights, so it was great to stay in one room throughout. It was beautiful and had views of both the water and the Venetian Wall. We used the SanSal app to order room service on our first night, which was very convenient. The central location put the old town, lighthouse, restaurants, and other things to do within walking distance. Parking was available for our rental car. The staff were kind and professional, gave us a city map, pointed out places of interest, and suggested excellent dinner spots. They offered to book tables, though we were able to walk in at both restaurants. I’d absolutely stay here again if I return to Chania.

We spent Valentine’s Day at sansal, and the staff were attentive, tidy, and so kind. The rooms were amazing, and they made our first visit to Greece feel very welcoming. 10/10.
