We loved how cozy, clean, and well-equipped the rooms were, and the view was breathtaking. This family-run hotel sits in a great spot between the beach and Chania’s old town. The owners are warm and friendly, and always ready to help. Highly recommended!

What made this place stand out was the way the owners looked after us. They were so welcoming, helped with whatever we needed, and even left us a welcome pack. We ended up adding an extra night because we weren't ready to leave, and I’d return whenever I’m in Chania. We'd come to meet friends and found the hotel through a friend's recommendation. It’s family-run, has spacious rooms with everything we needed, and the view is amazing. Chania Old Town is close enough to walk to, so we didn’t need a car. Thanks for the wonderful Greek hospitality 😍

The owners were very helpful, and there are plenty of restaurants right along the beach nearby. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the old town. In the afternoon and evening, the sun reaches the balcony, where you get a lovely view over the port and beach. Hard to find a better location.

The apartment worked really well for us, with a balcony looking over the street and the bay beyond, plus a shower and cooking facilities. We stayed at Semeli for two weeks in the summer of 2008 and loved being across from the beach, close to the city center and grocery stores. The older couple who owned it were generous and very welcoming. We hope we can come back soon...

The staff were friendly and helpful when we chose to extend our stay, and they all speak English. The apartments are fully equipped and in a handy spot: Nea Chora beach is a two-minute walk away, and the Old Port and Old Town are 5-10 minutes on foot. You can get around easily, including to Iguana Beach by passing several other beaches. There’s a street market right outside on Thursdays, and the central station is about a 10-minute walk away. From there you can connect to places such as Kissamos if you want to take a boat to Balos. I’d recommend staying here.
