Dionisos Suites

The owners are such lovely, friendly people and sort out any issues quickly. The apartment is new, beautiful, very clean, and equipped with all the essentials. The design and small details are impressive. The pool was clean, and the sea view from the apartment and terrace is incredible. Wifi connection was very good. It’s a quiet place with a good restaurant nearby, but you’ll need a car for anything else. Absolutely recommended, we’ll definitely come back.

We stayed two nights in suite 1 with my sister, and honestly wished we could have stayed longer. Irene gave us a wonderful welcome, and was so hospitable. The suite was fabulous and immaculately clean, with luxurious furnishings, a comfortable big bed, a well-equipped kitchenette, and a very large shower room. The private pool was divine, and we spent most of the day relaxing on the terrace. It all feels very private. WOW!

The owner and staff are super friendly and really try to make your stay comfortable. The owner has been improving things based on feedback, and they are charming. We do recommend the place, even though the constant hum from the pool pumps was super annoying and is why we wouldn’t return. The heat pumps keep the water at a very agreeable temperature, but the pumps and heat pumps make a loud, monotonous noise 24/7. We booked through 'Eliza was here' (a subsidiary of Sunweb). This fairly new suite rental is owned by a lovely woman, but the new interior has a dated 70s style with gold, white, and marble floors and tiles. Everything is in perfect shape, just not our style. The regular rooms aren’t very spacious and are nowhere near the size of the suites. Inside, there’s no seating arrangement, just one white fake leather chair and a golden table too low and small for a laptop. The owner later brought two chairs that also unfold into extra beds, to make an indoor seating area. The kitchenette is functional and better equipped than expected, even with salt, pepper, and olive oil. Each suite has a small pool, 3.0 X 2.5 meters. The two end suites, 1 and 6, have pools about twice as big. The solar-heated outdoor shower is nice for rinsing off chlorine. Privacy is fair, but not by design. A tarp is screwed to the wooden divider to give more of a sense of privacy, but you can still hear every word if the neighbours whisper. The tarp doesn’t extend to the pool area, so skinny dipping is only possible when the neighbours are out, or if you risk being spotted. The sea view shouldn’t be exaggerated: you can see the sea, but it’s a long way off. Hopefully no building will go up and block it, though the view does sell well in the pictures. High-power electrical wiring runs over the building, which might concern people sensitive to that sort of radiation. Wifi speed seems unstable, and every now and again the internet itself stops, though it comes back after five minutes. The AC only works when the sliding door is fully closed. If it’s hot and the AC is on, it stops every time you open the only door between the terrace and indoors, then starts again once the door is closed. It does keep running if you open and close the door immediately. The steel outdoor furniture has a white coating and is in good shape, but it’s very noisy to move. It can bother the neighbours, and they can bother you when moving it to get into the shade.

The service was amazing, and Zoe was professional, polite, and very helpful. It’s a modern apartment in a lovely, peaceful location, with your own pool and a stunning sea view. Simply wonderful!
