The location was good, which is why I’m giving two stars, but our stay was disappointing and all three rooms had problems. We booked them for my family and found roaches, mold and a strong sewer smell. The TVs didn’t work, and the very old AC units either wouldn’t open or struggled to cool the rooms. I asked the owner for a discount from the €125-per-night rate because of these issues. He said that wasn’t possible and that we wouldn’t find anything better.

I stayed in room 804 from 16-18 July. An employee entered my room and stole my gold wedding ring, which meant a lot to my marriage, my son’s gold bracelet and my wife’s gold earrings from the jewelry box. There wasn’t a locked cupboard in the room. I’m a lawyer, and I won’t let this go. I intend to complain and file a lawsuit against the hotel by every means available.

Never go! Nina, the woman working there, stole all the gold jewelry from my jewelry box in the room. I’m going to file a complaint against both the facility and Nina, and I’ll sue.

It’s a great place for a stay with family or friends. You can walk to the centre of Skala Potamia, which is closer than the beach, though the beach is still walkable. The Wi-Fi was awful, though. The terrace was the only spot where the connection was decent.
