Petra Residence

Katerina made our stay so easy. She was kind, friendly, always smiling, quick to answer our questions, and happy to help. She recommended places to visit, good restaurants, and a great source of olive oil, her husband, a local producer. We spent a lovely week at Petra Residence and felt right at home. Our new, modern bungalow had two large bedrooms, each with a comfortable king-size bed, wardrobe, and AC. The main bedroom had its own bathroom. The big living room had a comfortable sofa, two wardrobes, a large TV with Romanian channels, and AC. The kitchen was fully equipped with a washing machine, coffee machine, electric stove and oven, hood, refrigerator, kettle, cutlery, and a table for six. The terrace was nicely decorated, perfect for a frappe or a glass of wine before or after the beach. The view was breathtaking, and the beach takes 5-8 minutes on foot depending on your pace, or two minutes by car. There’s a minimarket, bakery, and gas station about five minutes away on foot, and you can find everything you need nearby. We loved it, recommend it with all our hearts, and will definitely be back. The beach is an easy 10-minute walk away, and the house is accessible even though the nearby road isn’t paved. Parking is quite cramped. The house itself is gorgeous, bright, and very clean, with three bedrooms, everything you need, and very comfortable mattresses. Thank you for everything!

We had a really nice vacation here. The rooms were clean and well equipped, and felt like home. It’s a 7-10 minute walk to the nearest beach and restaurants. Free parking is available, and towels and bed sheets are changed every 3-4 days. You can use the neighborhood pool for 5€/day/person, and there’s a BBQ if you want to cook your own fish or meat. The staff were very friendly and helped us find places to eat, plus markets for fish, meat, and groceries. I’d definitely recommend this place in the Golden Beach area if you’re visiting Thassos.

A great place, stocked with what you need, and less than a 10-minute walk from the best beach on Thassos. Our friends from the US worked from there and were very happy with the WiFi.
