Good prices, and the beach, taverns, and kids' games are a two-minute walk away. The coffee shop and two markets are just a minute away. Best host and accommodation on the island.

Room 105 was a corner room, probably bigger than a typical hotel room, with a good-sized balcony. It was sparkling clean, the furniture seemed only a few months old, and I thought I caught a hint of lavender in the breeze. Stefania was lovely when we arrived and showed us to the room. She said something in Greek with a smile, which I assumed meant “welcome.” Stefania II is a few minutes' walk from the beach, among local souvenir shops, a doctor's office, a mini market Carrefour, and several tavernas. The area is quiet, and since room 105 doesn't face the street, we could sleep with the balcony door open with virtually no noise. The booking process felt unusual to us. We had to contact the owner, check room availability, and send a deposit via Western Union, so we felt a bit uneasy before arriving. That passed quickly once we met Stefania. If I return to Thassos, I'll likely call her again for a room at Stefania II.

Right in the center of Skala Potamias, the property is a one or two minute walk from supermarkets, restaurants, bars, and the sea. The rooms are modern and very clean, and the owners were very friendly and provided excellent service.

The rooms are large and clean, and the location is very good. It’s about five minutes to the beach and tavernas. The balcony gives you a beautiful sunrise.
