Hatzoudis Luxury Suites

Octavian and his wife Kiki are so warm and friendly, and always make time for you. Octavian makes the best cocktails. We spent a lot of our holiday here and would definitely recommend it.

I really liked this quieter stretch of Golden Beach, and the hotel is right on it. The food choices are limited, though you can get pizza if you prefer not to leave the hotel. For a drink, try the bar, Octavian makes a great Hugo cocktail.

The staff were lovely, polite, and always ready to help. Breakfast was good, with enough to start the day, and the coffee was nice. Some vegetables came from the garden, and the homemade jams used fruit from the owners' trees, a lovely touch. We also had several lunches and dinners at La Terrasse Restaurant across the road. The menu has loads of choice, the staff are wonderful, and everything we tried was delicious. Our group of six ate there five nights and were impressed every time. The hotel has eight apartment suites and is almost on the beach. Our room was spacious, with a wide balcony and a big, comfortable bed. It was neat and clean, apart from a few hard-water marks. The pool isn't large, but it was clean and fine for swimming laps. The bathrooms could use some updating. Everything worked, but there were hard-water stains and a few loose fixtures.

We were surprised by how much we liked our stay at Hatzoudis, and couldn't have picked a better hotel. The staff were helpful and always smiling. There were lots of toys and bikes for us and the kids, and the rooms and shared areas were spotless. A lovely white-sand beach is just a three-minute walk away. Don't forget to pick and eat some cherry tomatoes from their garden. We highly recommend the hotel.
