You can easily explore Corfu’s historic sights on foot from the Konstantinoupolis Hotel, right in the heart of the old town. The building has character and classic charm, but its rooms and facilities feel dated and could use upgrades. Staff are generally friendly, though service is sometimes inconsistent. The hotel stopped serving breakfast a few years ago, so you’ll need to go to a nearby café. It’s a decent no-frills option for a short stay if location is the main thing.

At night the rooms were very loud, with cars and motorbikes outside if you get one facing the harbor. The furniture is old and the beds are soft. We also happened to meet a very rude Concierge.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the hotel worked fine for me since I only needed somewhere to sleep. It’s almost by the bay and about a 10-minute walk from the center of Old Corfu, with plenty of little shops and restaurants nearby. Just keep in mind this is a vintage 19th-century place: you can feel bumps and dips under the carpet, the restroom is tiny and basic, and the luggage room doesn’t lock. Even the staff advised against leaving valuables there. If you’re after comfort or luxury, I wouldn’t recommend it.

We felt right at home thanks to the lovely hotel staff, and we’re really grateful for that. Our room was clean and lovely, with an amazing view, and the location was perfect. A 10/10 stay!

The room was a pleasant surprise: a single room at the back of the building, looking over the old town, with a charming, well-preserved old-fashioned window basin. The bathroom had been renovated and even had a little window. The bedding was comfortable and good quality, and everything was perfectly clean. Saturday night brought some noise from the restaurants and music, but that’s Corfu in August. You’re right by the old town’s shops and restaurants and the seafront, with great views. The port is around a 15-20 minute walk. I had a pleasant stay and would come back. Thank you!
