The garden gave us a lovely private place to relax, and the apartment had everything we needed to feel at home. It's also very well placed, close to the coast and a lively choice of restaurants, while still offering a peaceful stay. The staff were friendly, responsive, and quick to answer questions. Their instructions were especially clear, from collecting the keys to connecting to WiFi and using the hot water, so arriving and settling in was easy. We also appreciated their flexibility with check-in and check-out times, which helped with our travel plans. Calliope Corfu Apartments was a delightful place to stay, and I'd happily recommend it. It feels like a well-run business that cares about its guests.

For the price, the service felt exceptional. Whenever we needed help with the accommodation, someone replied within minutes, and we had no other problems. There was one hiccup: the email instructions described a first-floor apartment, but the one we'd rented was on the second floor. It was a bit inconvenient, though we sorted it out quickly. We felt like we'd gotten a great deal.

The location was the one good thing, and late check-in was convenient. Everything else was awful and unforgettable. The bathroom drain didn't work. Water from both the sink and shower spread across the bathroom, leaving the apartment floors constantly wet and dirty. I can't believe the host didn't know, but it wasn't mentioned in the listing or at check-in. There were dirty, wet towels left in our bedroom. The WiFi worked for only two days; after that, it connected to the network but had no internet. Restarting the router didn't help. The check-in directions were wrong too. We were told our room was on the first floor, but the keys wouldn't open a room there. We had to call late at night to sort it out and wait on the street for 20 minutes. It turned out our room was on the second floor.
