Nonas House

Right in the old town, so the studio is handy for reaching all sorts of places. The Vacedo team were also very helpful with suggestions for restaurants and things to do.

We were four in the first-floor apartment. There was a very large room, though the windows being open made it a bit noisy, and there was also a very small room. The bathrooms were tiny, and the kitchen was so small it was hard for all four of us to eat. The location worked well for getting around the city center. Parking under the house was convenient if you backed into it from the street. Barely adequate.

Avoid this place. Reviews on booking mention what seems to be an ongoing cockroach problem on the ground floor. I was offered a refund for the nights I had left, but still had to pay full price for one night living with vermin. I pointed out the corridors and smells in the apartment where they could move around, but the landlord said this was normal in old Corfu town and considered the offer reasonable. I don’t think cleaning alone will solve a problem that needs more than that. Good luck in the future, but you’ve lost a customer.

The house was disgusting, full of insects and pests, with a strange sewer smell. Paying full price to stay in a dump like that almost makes sleeping on the street seem more luxurious.
