We found the site comfortable in size, with most buildings no more than two floors, and would recommend it for a reasonably priced, slightly smaller all-inclusive family break. The hotel has two sections: the main one has the restaurant, main bar, snack bar, and two larger pools; across the road is another with a smaller pool and the standard drinks selection. I think there’s a gym and spa there too, but we didn’t use them. There’s also a shop open daily from 9 to 5 selling snacks, alcohol, sunscreen, pool and beach accessories, and souvenirs. We chose the quieter second pool. It was nice and chilled, though a little background music might have added atmosphere. At the main pool by the bar, entertainers ran games with music playing. There’s a playground for kids and a tennis court as well. Evening shows were mixed. The traditional Greek performer on Friday was excellent, and Bruno Mars and friends had great voices. On other nights, the entertainers mostly seemed to cater to a small group of middle-aged men on a heavy drinking session. We could avoid that and still enjoy our evenings. Food was generally really good, especially on Mexican and proper Greek nights. Burger night was the only real letdown, and I couldn’t tell how much meat was in the burgers. During the day, both pools had self-serve soft drinks, beer, hot drinks, and a few basic sandwiches. The snack bar ran from about 11 to 5, serving gyros, chips, and a few other things, and we used it most days. All-inclusive drinks included beer, five wines, some shots, and several cocktails. We kept buying coffee because the included one was truly bad. The coffee we paid for was really good, and lily’s, a local coffee shop across the road, was cheaper and even better. Getting to the old town by bus was easy: the stop is by the BMW garage, a 10-minute walk down the road, and you can tap a contactless card on board. The beaches are a 15 to 20-minute walk away. We’d recommend Agii Apostoli beach, where two sunbeds cost €20 a day and the beach bar, Notis, was really good. We also went to Iguana, but its beach bar was very slow and there were no sunbeds. If you’re bringing a baby, the staff were great with ours, pulling faces and getting us a high chair quickly when one was available. The hotel provided a cot and kettle at no extra cost. At peak times the restaurant felt quite different. Try for an outside table, and make sure there’s a high chair if you have a baby. The indoor area can feel like a cafeteria and gets very loud when busy. The cleaners did a great job, though we noticed a smell from the drains that built up overnight. I assume that may be hard to avoid. One route to skip is walking from the beach to Lidl on the way back to the hotel. The road has very little pavement, and with a stroller, the heat and traffic made it unpleasant.
