The location was excellent, close to a good beach, a market, and a bus stop. We had a large terrace with a sea view, and in practice two separate rooms, which matters when you’re traveling with children. The stay itself was very disappointing. A couple of days before check-in, the owner told us we’d have to spend the first of our three nights at another hotel a couple of kilometers away, because the previous guests had stayed an extra night. We weren’t asked if we agreed; we were simply told. I refused from the start. Spending one of three days in a different hotel makes no sense. The owner of the "Architects" hotel took our time, put us in what felt like a hole, and charged us for all three nights at his hotel. The mattress also had a cellophane cover that made us hot and rustled. The pool wasn’t clean, and there were wasps in it.

The apartment has a nice view and a good location, but it could use a few repairs. The kitchen was also missing basics like dishwashing liquid and salt.

The place was cozy, quiet, and had comfortable soft beds. There’s a kitchenette with a combined freezer and refrigerator, plus a microwave, and the rooms were cleaned daily. They also provide Korres bathroom amenities, which was a nice touch, as those are great cosmetics from Athens. At first, the owners left us with a really bad impression because they didn’t send the agreed airport transfer. Even so, I’d definitely recommend the place.

The beach is so close that you probably won’t need the tiny pool much, and the best beach on Crete is just down the road. This is a fantastic little hotel, with a cozy feel, a great atmosphere, and wonderful staff. Absolutely lovely.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the surroundings were beautiful. The location was perfect. The one problem was the towels: they weren’t changed, so ours stayed wet all the time because they didn’t dry.
