Azatis Luxury Villa

The villa looks very modern and is spacious and well equipped, but our room and the lack of service really let it down. It was only a little above basic, with no storage. Three hangers weren't enough, and although we were told more would be delivered, they never arrived. I kept my clothes in my suitcase for all ten days. There was no en-suite, so we had to use the 'Family' bathroom. We had a serious leak from the A/C that flooded the room. Management was contacted and promised to come within ten minutes, but nobody ever showed up to fix it. The in-house brochure says staff are available at any time, but that wasn't our experience. Staff were meant to visit every three days, yet we saw them once in ten days. Getting a taxi can be tricky because not all drivers come to this area. Without a car, it's pretty remote. The taxi company recommended to us as working with the Villa only does airport transfers. For the price, this was poor value. It looks good in the pictures, but the service was dreadful and frankly shocking. I've stayed in much better accommodation in Crete for a lot less and got a lot more. I'm afraid I can't recommend it, and the Management Co needs changing because they simply don't seem interested.
