It’s a lovely place to stay if you’d rather be somewhere quiet than in the bustle of big Chania. The sandy beach is close, and there are several good restaurants nearby. You can take the bus into Chania for an evening walk around the old Venetian harbor or a drink. The host was great, friendly, and always helpful.

We were given a better room than we expected, with a balcony and a nice view. The rooms were clean and tidied every day. It’s a really nice place, close to four beaches, so you can try them all.

There’s a bit of road noise, but it was acceptable. The hotel was more than decent, very clean and tidy, with a kitchen in the room and either a lawn or a balcony. It’s near three local beaches, as well as shops and taverns. There’s parking in front of the yard, and lots of kittens from the neighbors. Rooms have AC, a TV, and a private bathroom with a shower. It works for families with children, and the patrons are very kind.

There’s no pool, so I’m giving it four stars, though it should be five. The beach is only five minutes away, the staff are great, and the service is very good. A restaurant, supermarket, and ATM are just a two-minute walk away. You can also make your own food in the apartment. :-)
