The garden is lovely, with flowerpots everywhere, and the beach and other amenities are just a few minutes away on foot. These are family-run apartments in a traditional Greek style, with a fridge, kettle and hairdryer. I especially liked the wooden shutters. The rooms are cosy and the pool has sunbeds. The bathrooms are a bit challenging, though they’re very clean, the water is always hot and the shower has good pressure.

The pool setup was a real plus, with comfortable loungers and plenty of shade from both the trees and umbrellas. I had a great two weeks with Solos holidays. TheAronda is a basic complex of 18 very clean rooms, all looking out over the pool. The rooms are comfortable, though the bathrooms could use an update.

Shops and restaurants are only a short walk from this family-run hotel, and the beach takes about ten minutes to reach on foot. You can also catch a bus nearby into Corfu town. There’s a large grassy pool area with lots of beds, plus a bar serving drinks and food. Every room faces the pool. The place is just two floors, and while the rooms are basic, they have what you need, including a small kitchen area.

I love this place. The view is beautiful, and the pool has a shallow section that’s good for children. Rooms are cleaned daily and are cosy, with towels, wifi and toilet paper provided. Basically, you have what you need.

Awful stay. Twice, they started mowing the lawn with a ride-on mower at 10 pm, keeping us awake. It really felt like they didn’t care about guests’ well-being, only making money so they could relax over the winter. The dogs next door barked all night, and there was a smell of horse manure from a property away. I won’t stay here again.
