Penelope was a perfect place for our Corfu stay. Nils, Sofia, and Dimitri were always cheerful about answering questions and helping however they could, and I'm going to miss my morning chats with Sofia. The staff were incredibly accommodating. Since I'm severely lactose intolerant, they bought lactose-free yogurt, milk and cheese so I could have their wonderful breakfast and coffee. The rooms were comfortable and really nice. Top class! We will miss it.
The garden has lots of lovely spots to sit back and take in the bay views, and the swimming pool is really BIG. It's a great hotel for a family holiday, with clean, nice rooms and cheerful, attentive staff. Being family run is a real plus. Nils is a wonderful host who gave us great tips on beaches, good local food and things to see. He also arranged a hire car delivered to the hotel, which let us take some lovely trips around the island. Corfu is green and lush, the water is crystal clear and the food is amazing. The relaxed feel and location were perfect for us. We'll definitely come back to Penelope!
A relaxing pool setting with good music, a great location, and lovely people. Nils is one of the best hosts I've ever met.
The apartment is spacious and has everything you could need. The shower had great pressure, and the balcony was breathtaking. When we arrived late, Nils was so welcoming and let us stay past checkout because we had a late flight. He'd recently filled the pool with his well water, and I've never swum in water that felt so fresh.
The rooms are huge, the views are fantastic, and everything is clean. Towels were changed every two days. The host is friendly, and the place is near both the beach and the bus station for Corfu and Ipsos. It is up on a hill, but that wasn't much of a problem. Highly recommend.
